IP University has started admission process for international students. ‘Admission Brochure for International Students’ for the academic session 2024 – 25 was released by the Vice Chancellor of the University Padma Shri Professor (Dr.) Mahesh Verma at a function organized at Dwarka campus here today.

“The University is also planning to allot a separate hostel for the international students in East campus of the University from the academic year 2024 – 25,” announced the Vice Chancellor.

The High Commissioner of Republic of Gambia Mr. Mustapha Jawara also graced the occasion.

Like last year, this year too, 25% seats will be allowed to be filled on supernumerary basis in different programmes of the University.

At present more than 150 international students from 26 countries are studying at the University, mainly from Nepal, Bhutan, Gulf countries & African countries.

Application Form for the purpose can be downloaded from the link of the University website https://www.ipu.ac.in/intaff.php The application form, complete in all respects, should be sent to ‘ Room No – 306, D block, Directorate of International Affairs, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector – 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi – 78(India).’ The soft copy of the application form should be forwarded on the e – mail ID [email protected]

As far as admissions are concerned, first preference will be given to candidates applying through ICCR fellowship. The remaining seats will be filled through other international candidates on merit based on qualifying exams for the purpose.

BAMS,BHMS, B. Sc( Yoga) and M.Sc( Yoga) programmes are available only for ICCR sponsored candidates.

English proficiency test scores of TOFEL or IELTS is required to apply through this route, however, applicants of Nepal and Tibet are exempted from this compulsion. In case of candidate applying through ICCR scholarship, the English proficiency score awarded and reported by the council will be considered as equivalent to IELTS score.

The annual fees for variuos programmes are either US $ 2,050

or US $ 2,500, depending on the programme.
